Edge Sports Center Skating Program 2023-2024 Season We are in an exciting time for all ice sports especially Learn to Skate USA! Welcome back to the Edge Sports Center where it all starts. Registration for the 2023-2024 season is open online. All Learn to Skate USA skaters are required to include their LTS USA membership number on the application. Sign-up today at https://www.learntoskateusa.com/signuphomepage/. LTS USA membership cards will be checked regularly. Skaters must have a LTS USA membership card to participate.

- Helmets are recommended, Gloves and Mittens, too.
- Optional Booster Lessons for one-on-one instruction to pass tests and get ahead.
- Optional choreographed programs to music for skaters who take booster lessons. * At extra cost: 15 minute Booster lessons are $15 each paid directly to the instructor.
Ice Skating Program 2023-2024 Season Registration for Edge Skating Programs (Please mark or circle programs – can also register using the registration link below) Group Lessons – Sessions are 35 minutes in length including a 5-minute warm-up and a 30-minute class. There is also 15 minutes of practice time. Additional 15-minute booster lessons are available for an additional $15 fee. Lessons are for skaters 5 years and older. Fall 2023 Saturday 9/23/23 – 11/18/23 2:40 – 3:50 PM 8 Weeks $255 No Class 10/7
Winter 1 Saturday 12/2/23 – 2/10/24 2:40 – 3:50 PM 8 Weeks $255 No Class 12/23, 12/30 and 1/13
Winter 2 Saturday 3/2/24 – 5/11/24 2:40 – 3:50 PM 9 Weeks $285 No Class 4/13 and 4/20
Spring Monday 5/20/24 – 7/8/24 5:20 – 6:50 PM 7 Weeks $225 No Class 5/27
Summer Monday 7/15/24 – 8/19/24 5:20 – 6:40 PM 6 Weeks $195
Every skater must register yearly with USFS headquarters (Year runs 7/1/23 – 6/30/24).
Required for all skaters.
We do not have crates or balance devices.
Approved Adults on the ice who accompany children ages 4-5 must be competent safe skaters and register.

I hereby waive, release and forever discharge said The Edge Sports Center, it’s officers, members, agents, representatives and employees from all claims and demands which I, my heirs, executors and administrators, and those of the above named child have or may have by reason of any personal injury or injuries, property damage or damage of any nature whatsoever resulting from the participation of the above named child, or parent or guardian, in the activities of The Edge Sports Center and any consequences arising there from. Further, any parent or guardian skating during any portion of this program also complies with the release language included herein.

There is joy in personal satisfaction when you get that special feeling You Did It! that no one can give you.
Our Specialty Classes are a way for skaters to take a small step up and gain confidence and we also offer a Summer Skating Camp. World class basic skills build a strong foundation for skaters to reach for the stars and achieve their maximum potential. Boys and girls who want to be top hockey players need to learn their edges and turns from figure skating specialists. Skaters who want to jump and spin need private one on one booster lessons to improve safely. Years down the road skaters reach for their personal record by training smarter and harder. We offer the ideal situation and safe place to start on that journey.

- We reserve the right to divide skaters into squads based on enrollment.
- All skaters MUST have a US Figure Skating membership. Go to: learntoskateusa.com.
- Please note: Children age 4 and under must have a person who can skate well with them.
The person must sign a liability waiver/release and be a member of US Figure Skating.
- Booster lessons are optional at extra cost paid directly to the instructor.
- Optional Booster Lessons depend on instructor availability.
- If the ice is full we will not offer Optional Booster lessons.

The Edge Learn to Skate USA program is directed by Michael Masionis and Andrea Iannalfo
Michael Masionis is a member of the US Figure Skating Learn To Skate USA committee.
“Coach Mike” has created, directed and operated skating schools since 1975 at Greater Boston and New England skating rinks. He is a full time professional figure skating coach and Edge and Power Skating instructor. Producer and Director of Skating Exhibitions and Competitions, skating camps and televised productions, Mike makes the most of each opportunity to showcase fun and share the joy of skating. The Edge Sports Center is the place to learn world class basics that will enhance your fitness and a lifetime of participation in ice sports including Figure Skating, Synchronized Team, Moves In the Field, Ice Dancing, Theatre on Ice, Power and Edge, Speed Skating and Hockey.
